Visual Identity

HOW SOME SONGS FEEL

Music and mood go hand in hand like only a few other things do, don’t they? We’ve heard of and experienced the effect that music has on us. Likewise, songs have the power to put me in better spirits. Or a in a sombre mood too. I listen to some songs because they’re brilliant pieces of art, and to some because they make me feel immensely happy every time. Coming across a song I completely relate to is one of the purest moments for me. I am far from a music connoisseur, but I do like to call myself a true fan of some forms and artists.
This work consists of concept artworks and identities I’ve made for a few of the songs I’m currently listening to on repeat. It sort of is like a visual representation of my interpretation of the personalities of these songs. I’m expressing the feelings these songs make me feel through type, imagery, and colours.
